Broken Arrow 46k

Broken Arrow nearly broke me. On paper, the race might not seem extraordinary: two 13k loops, climbing from 6,204’ to 8,858’ with a total elevation gain of 8,757’. But experiencing the high altitude and the sunny day firsthand made it one of the most challenging races I've ever participated in. Every aspect of the race was difficult—I could only climb as fast as I could crawl and had to be precise with the extremely technical descents. In that sense, it was not only perfect element training but also an important character development exercise.
